Daniel Davis

Mr. Daniel Davis (Peterow), son of the late Paul Ruff, Sr. and Johnny Mae Davis (Dolly), passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.  He was born August 22, 1954, in Putnam County, Eatonton Georgia.

He graduated from Putnam County High School in 1973.  His employment included Putnam County School System and Horton Homes.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his wife Nadine Jones Davis.

Peterow, as he was so affectionally called,  leaves to cherish memories to his brothers and sisters: Alfred Hayes, Paul Ruff Jr (Denise), Rachel Ruff Haynes, Mattie Peavy (Fred), Betty Powell, Annette Ruff (Gerald), and Gwennette Ruff Ford; Aunt Mamie Harper; stepchildren: Nellie  (Charles) James, Shannon Griffin, Royshain Griffin, Stanley Jones; a host of step grandchildren; two devoted cousins: Linda Reid (Victor) and Margaret Marie Reid; a devoted friend: Joe Napier; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other sorrowful relatives and Friends.

Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, 11:00 AM at the East Eatonton Cemetery, 124 Hogan Boulevard, Eatonton, Georgia 31024. Officiating the Service will be Pastor Fred Peavy. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, 5PM – 7PM at Putnam Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral home promotes adherence to the CDC protocol.  Please wear mask and social distance.
