Laquita Denise Scott

Laquita Denise Scott, daughter of Mr. David Scott, Sr. and Mrs. Denise Scott., was born on July 14, 1993. She passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020.

She graduated from Putnam County High School in 2012.  After high school, she continued to reside in her hometown of Eatonton, GA where she lived her life to the fullest.  She enjoyed and lived every day like it could be her last.  She spent her free time cooking, and enjoying family and friends.

While her time on this earth may have been short, she brought smiles and laughter everywhere she went.  She touched the lives of anyone who knew her.

She was proceeded in death by her grandmothers: Carolyn Hill and Stella Scott.

Laquita leaves to cherish her love and memories her parents David & Denise Scott, Sr. of Eatonton, GA; siblings: Shawn Hill of Carrollton, GA, Kanisha Thompkins of Covington, GA, David Scott Jr., and Shaneese Scott both of Eatonton, GA; grandfather: George Johnson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020, East Eatonton Cemetery, 129 Hogan Boulevard, Eatonton, GA 31024, 11:30 AM.  Officiating the service will be the Reverend Harriet Camp. Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, December 18, 2020, 4:00PM - 6:00PM.  Putnam Memorial Funeral Home promotes adherence to the CDC protocol.  Please wear mask and social distance.
